The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has already closed the deadline, and unlinked PAN cards are now being marked ‘inactive’ — which could disrupt your financial and tax-related transactions.

Why is PAN-Aadhaar Linking Important?

As per Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, it is mandatory for every PAN holder to link their card with Aadhaar.

The price of this plan, which was launched in August and was priced at Rs. 399 per month, is now being offered free for a year. 

The company announced this offer during its first DevDay Exchange event. 

Compared to the free plan, ChatGPT Go has 10 times more message limits, image generation, file or image uploads. 

The memory is also twice as much as the free plan.

Subsidy cancellation if there is no certification

If there is no Aadhaar verification through biometrics, the subsidy will be canceled. 

The subsidy will be given only if gas consumers get verified every year. 

The center is making it clear that if they do not do it, they will have to lose the subsidy permanently from that year. 

This applies to IOC, HP, and Bharat Petroleum companies. 

Users can get this verification free of charge. 

They can register it by going to the relevant gas office or through the app available at the cylinder delivery boy or they can verify it directly in the app.

The center provides a maximum of 9 cylinders per year through subsidy.

Indian Banks Get a New Online Address: Welcome to the .bank.in Era!

A major digital shift is taking place in India’s banking sector. 

Several banks across the country are now moving their net banking websites to the new .bank.in domain — a move aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and protecting customers from online fraud.

Why This Change?

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in its directive dated April 21, instructed all banks to migrate their existing website addresses to the .bank.in domain by October 31. This step is part of RBI’s ongoing efforts to curb cyber threats like phishing and hacking while boosting public trust in secure online banking.

According to the RBI, the new domain ensures enhanced authentication, domain validation, and stricter control over who can register — making it much harder for cybercriminals to create fake banking websites.

What About Non-Banking Institutions?

RBI has also announced that a separate domain — .fin.in — will soon be launched for non-banking financial institutions (NBFCs), ensuring a consistent layer of security across all financial entities.

What Will You Notice?

When you log in to your bank’s online services, you’ll now see “.bank.in” in the website URL. 

Some banks might still open with their older “.com” addresses initially, but will automatically redirect you to the new secure domain.

Before searching for any information or application on a website, you should carefully examine the letters in the name.

Any company collects fees all at once. It does not collect them repeatedly for different reasons. If they are asking for money frequently, it should definitely be considered a fraud.

When applying for dealerships, you should make sure that the website is accurate.

If necessary, you should go directly to the offices of the respective companies and find out.

If you are cheated, you should report it to the 1930 toll-free number or the local police without delay.

Applications are being invited for the second round of PM Internship.

Golden opportunity for youth! 

The Centre is inviting applications for the second phase of the PM Internship Scheme, which aims to teach new skills and provide employment opportunities. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has said that more than one lakh internship opportunities in more than 300 companies can be applied online till March 31. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through https://pminternship.mca.gov.in/login/. 

Candidates will first have to register their names on the website and then apply. There is no fee for registration/application. The application deadline for the second phase of internship ended on March 12.. but it has been extended till March 31.

How much is the monthly stipend?

The center has launched this scheme with the aim of providing skills to one crore people in the top 500 companies in the next five years.

The candidates selected for internship will be provided with financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 per month for a year.

There will also be a one-time grant of Rs. 6,000 before joining the company. That is, they will get a total of Rs. 66,000 in a year.

Companies that voluntarily participate in this scheme provide internships for a year.

Candidates will have to spend at least half of this time in a real work environment instead of in a classroom.

Any company/bank/financial institution can join this scheme with the approval of the ministry concerned.

Is there insurance facility?

There is personal insurance facility for those who join the internship. Insurance is provided through central government insurance schemes like PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana. The government will pay the required premium for this.

Who is eligible/ineligible?

Subject to certain conditions, young men and women between the ages of 21 and 24 are eligible for this scheme. Those who are enrolled in online/distance learning programs, as well as candidates who have passed SSC, and those who have degrees like ITI, Polytechnic, BA, BSC, BCA, BBA, B Pharmacy can apply. Also, those belonging to families of government employees, families with an annual income of more than ₹8 lakh, and those who have graduated from higher educational institutions like IIT, IIM, etc. Those with CA, CMA qualifications are not eligible for this internship.

భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్థం వచ్చే ఏడాది జనవరి నెలకు సంబంధించిన శ్రీవారి ఆర్జిత సేవల కోటా టికెట్లు, అంగ ప్రదక్షిణ టోకెన్లను ఈ నెల 19వ తేదీ ఉదయం 10 గంటలకు తితిదే ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో విడుదల చేయనుంది. ఈ సేవా టికెట్ల ఎలక్ట్రానిక్‌ డిప్‌ కోసం అక్టోబర్‌ 21వ తేదీ ఉదయం 10 గంటల వరకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో నమోదు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఈ టికెట్లు పొందినవారు అక్టోబర్‌ 21 నుంచి 23వ తేదీ మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటలలోపు డబ్బులు చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. కల్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్‌ సేవ, ఆర్జిత బ్రహ్మోత్సవం, సహస్ర దీపాలంకరణ సేవా టికెట్లను ఈనెల 23న ఉదయం పది 10 గంటలకు తితిదే ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో విడుదల చేయనుంది.

వర్చువల్‌ సేవలు, వాటి దర్శన స్లాట్లకు సంబంధించిన కోటా కూడా 23 మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటలకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌ అందుబాటులో ఉండనుంది. శ్రీవాని ట్రస్టు దర్శన టికెట్ల కోటాను 24న ఉదయం 11 గంటలకు, వయోవృద్ధులు, దివ్యాంగులు, దీర్ఘకాలిక వ్యాధులున్నవారు తిరుమల శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకునేందుకు వీలుగా ఉచిత ప్రత్యేక ప్రవేశ దర్శనం టోకెన్ల కోటాను 24న మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటలకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. ప్రత్యేక ప్రవేశ దర్శన టికెట్ల కోటాను 25న ఉదయం 10 గంటలకు విడుదల చేయనున్నారు.
